Public Engagement Training Day

On the day we will: 1. Provide you with the support that you need to get started in public engagement. 2. Develop your skills in communicating your research to a public audience. 3. Build your confidence in running activities. 4. Provide you with resources for activities that you can take away from the day and run at your own public engagement events. There will also be a science communication expert on hand to answer any of your questions throughout. Lunch and refreshments will also be available on the day.

Travel grant recipients who do not attend are required to return their funding to The Society. Non-attendees will inform us as soon as they can ahead of the event. We will process your data, which may include photographs of you at our events, in accordance with our fair processing notice. Should you wish for your photograph not to be taken, please contact us.
